Artwork Preparation Tips:
Layer Management: Ensure all hidden layers are deleted and flatten your artwork to prevent issues related to overlays, gradients, drop shadows, and transparencies.
Orientation Matters: Submit files with the correct orientation to guarantee accurate printing.
Borders Caution: Avoid using borders in your design if possible. Borders too close to the trim may result in slight off-center trimming.
Image Quality: Verify that your PDF is high resolution and that all images are in CMYK format at 300 DPI.
Text Outlining: Convert all text fonts to outlines (not embedded).
Linked Images: Do not include linked images in your files.
Spot UV Separation: If the file includes a spot UV, create a separate file using black 100% K to define the glossy area.
Die Line: Ensure the die line shape is a single path that is stroked.
Vector Artwork: Provide vector-only artwork for type, logos, shapes, and all other elements. Reserve embedded raster artwork for actual 4/C images.
Black Type Settings: Black type should have the following values: C0, M0, Y0, K100.
Trim Size Alignment: The Illustrator file's trim size must match the final trim size, with a minimum 0.125 inches bleed set in a page editor in each direction.
Color Mode: Files should be in CMYK color mode only (no RGB), with a Dieline and/or White_Ink spot color as per your order specifications.
